This half-term, Ash and Manuka class had a wonderful day of cooking, designing, preparing, making and finally eating, their own delicious seasonal tart. The children could choose from a selection of toppings including: tomato purée, pesto, tomatoes, celery, spinach, cucumber, spring onion and pepper. The children used many cooking skills, including chopping, slicing, grating and spreading. We were delighted with the results; they were delicious!
