The 2023 - 2024 Earlsmead School Council was elected via democratic votes during Autumn Term.  The candidates produced a manifesto and presented them to their classes. On election day all the children visited the polling station and cast their vote. The ballots were counted and the councillors announced. 

The school council meets fortnightly and discuss any issues that their peers have spoken to them about. This year, the school council have written child friendly versions of the Safeguarding Policy and Anti-Bullying Policy. 

They are also working on Earlsmead's 50th anniversary events.
